Anusree who rose to fame for her stint in the debut ‘Diamond Necklace’ has penned down a heartening note for the director of the film Lal Jose. The 2012 movie starring
Fahadh Faasil discussed a relevant topic of how the youngsters fall prey to heavy debt in the run for a luxurious life.
As the movie clocked eight years yesterday Anusree penned a heartfelt note, reminiscing her first movie, the dubbing experience, and watching herself on the screen for the first time.
“Lal sir (director Lal Jose) I wouldn’t have come this long if you haven’t given me an opportunity then,” Anusree penned.
Anusree essayed the role of Kalamandalam Rajasree in ‘Diamond Necklace’. Rajasree is an ordinary village belle, who gets married off to an NRI, who lives in Dubai. Fahadh Faasil essayed Rajasree’s husband, Dr Arun, who is an oncologist.
Anusreee entered showbiz through a reality show. She participated in a talent hunt reality show of which director Lal Jose was the judge. Lal Jose was impressed by Anusree’s acting chops and introduced her through ‘Diamond Necklace’. Anusree later bagged a lot of opportunities with actors including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Manju Warrier, Dileep, Kunchacko Boban, and many others. The actress also went on acting in out and out entertainers like 'Madhura Raja' and also bagged roles in parallel movies like 'My Life Partner.' The talented actress was last seen in ‘Prathi Poovankozhi’ alongside Manju Warrier.
