As soon as
Jayasurya’s film
Njan Marykutty
was out, the audience and the actor’s co-stars and colleagues from the industry made sure to give the film a sincere watch. And after they watched the film, the experience is such that it calls for a mandatory post on social media. Actress Amala Paul have also had similar experience after watching the film. She posted a long note on her social networking page.
She says, “A much needed and important piece of social inclusion, as we are marching to the 'Age of Empathy’. 'Njan Marykutty' brings to life, lives of transgender community, breaking various exclusionary myths & propagandas. Built around or about them by society, religious institutions or economic enterprises. The movie chronicles not just the anticipated hardships of the community, but instead marvels or I must say celebrates the spirit of human endeavours and the strength of a survivalist.
Kudos to director #RanjithSankar , #Jayasoorya & the team for embarking on a road, less travelled. So proud of my dear friend and one of the best actors in the country for taking up such a role and doing it with absolute devotion Jayasurya
After all, we are all kids of the infinite, as genderless as him, herself. Watch this movie in theatres especially with your young ones, I guarantee, you’ll leave your seat with a kindled heart. ❤️#njanmarykutty #mustwatch #ageofempathy (sic).”
She also shared an adorable picture of Jayasurya and her and was seen reminiscing about their friendship.
