Aby Movie review highlights; The first half brings a lot of endearing characters and impressing performances

With the film Aby, the Malayalam audience gets to see actor-directorVineeth Sreenivasan essaying the titular character, and has Suraj Venjaramoodu, Marina Michael playing prominent roles in it.As promising the trailer was, the first half of the 2 hours 12 minute-long film is quite engaging and keeps the audience glued to the seats. While Vineeth’s performance as Aby gives total justice to the character, the child actor, who plays his childhood, does an equally impressive job. The beautiful songs and the picturesque frames of Idukki make it a visual treat. The film has lots of heart-touching moments and Aju Varghese adds to the comic aspect in the movie.Marina Michael looks convincing as a bold yet loving character. Sudheer Karamana and Anandam fame Vineetha Koshy strikes a chord with the audience as Aby’s parents on-screen. So far, the movie was quite a delight to watch, if only the second half continues to be as endearing as the earlier portions.
