The Malayalam comedy drama movie, ‘Aadu 3’, was released on March 19 and opened with mixed reviews at the box office. Amidst the ‘Dhurnadhar’ wave, the film has gone on to register itself in the Rs 100 crore club and on Thursday, the movie collected Rs 73 lakh.
According to trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Aadu 3’ had a good opening, where it collected Rs 6.03 crore. Keeping up the numbers with consistency, the film then enjoyed a reaming weekend with good numbers, making over Rs 6.48 crore, Rs 7.28 crore and Rs 7.26 crore on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively. This brought the first week's collection to Rs 36.63 crore.
In the second, the collections took a slight drop, the second Friday added Rs 1.45 crore, Rs 2.28 crore and Rs 2.65 crore on the second Saturday and Sunday respectively.
After Thursday’s numbers of Rs 73 lakh across 829 shows, the film’s total stands at Rs 47.08 crore. This brings the total India gross collections to Rs 54.43 crore.
Interestingly, the film also enjoyed a good international reception. It has grossed a total of Rs 60.75 crore in gross collections, which makes the total worldwide gross collection Rs 115.18 crore.
Theatre occupancy
The film had an overall occupancy of 18.28%. The morning shows recorded 8.25%, then increased to 15% in the afternoon. Later in the evening, the shows were at 16.58% and peaked at night in 27.67%.

Directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, 'Aadu 3' brings back Shaji Pappan and his gang. The story unfolds across three parallel timelines—past, present, and future. The film has time-travel elements as the gang faces powerful enemies in different eras, and this leads to high-stakes confrontations.
