A power from above made me choose Nazriya

Director of blockbuster hit Neram, Alphonse Putharen is a believer.
"There is some power which leads us on, and it is the same power which made me pick Nazriya for the film," he says. "Certain things are written on our heads, and I believe all my decisions are made thus." The bilingual music video Yuvhh, featuring Nivin Pauly and Nazriya, was a major hit, and later the bilingual Neram was one of the top grossers of the year.It also launched Nazriya as a heroine, and she has been much sought after since, in Malayalam as well as Tamil. "I never expected such an overwhelming response for Neram,' says Alphonse.
