But did you know Kalabhavan Mani never used artificial tears (glycerin) while enacting an emotional scene? Yes, you heard that right. The actor never needed the help of fake tears as he had a bundle of sorrow in his own life and whenever he had to cry in a shot, he would recollect a sad incident that he had confronted in his life.
The actor himself has revealed in an old interview that he never used glycerin to cry. And now we know why his movies touched our souls!

Kalabhavan Mani has won hearts of people with his simplicity. The actor was never obsessed with the stardom and hence people loved him unconditionally. From antagonist characters to heroic roles like ‘Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum’, Kalabhavan Mani has effortlessly played the roles he was assigned with. The actor has also received the special mention at the National film awards for his performance in the 1999 release ‘Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum’. The actor passed away in 2016 which has left everyone in shock.
