Bengaluru-based Pravara Theatre is presenting the Kannada play ‘Bhava Enage Hingithu’ live on the Sabhankosh. The play is written by Karanam Pavan Prasad and directed by
Hanu Ramasanjeeva. It is scheduled to be streamed on the app on September 13, at 7.30 pm.
The play revolves around a family drama. It is the story of a father-son duo, holding a mirror to their lives.
Prabhu is a well-established author of many best-selling, award-winning novels, while his son Chiranthan is taking a baby steps into the writing world. He is, in fact, struggling to find a strong space for himself in the literary world, after a failed release.
The storyline tries to capture the mesmerising way in which a story gets woven in writer’s mind. Meanwhile, their maid Sarala and her husband Raju add an interesting turn to the story.
The captivating narrative aside, ‘Bhava Enage Hingithu’ is an engaging theatrical piece, that to its powerful dialogues, interspersed with acting prowess, twists and turn in the plot and a surprising climax. These are the highlights of the play that promise to keep the audience glued to their seats.
Pravara Theatre, which was earlier known as Pravara Art Studio, recently conducted an hour-long comedy show on their Facebook page. Called ‘Laughter with MSN’, the event featured noted actor and humour writer MS Narasimhamurthy. This was conducted as part of the theatre collective’s seventh year anniversary. The celebrations also included honouring the troupe’s ‘off-stage theatre stars’.
