and Akshith Shetty, has just released a new track, titled Waste Body. Launched by filmmaker-actor Rishab Shetty, the song features the film’s lead actor Pranav Hegde, and it is woven at a pivotal point of the narrative. The movie will hit the theatres on October 11.
Elaborating on the song sequence, Arjun — who has also written the lyrics for this Prasad K Shetty composition — says, “Pranav’s character, named Rakshith Shetty, has just graduated from college. His father compels him to go abroad and build a career there. But Rakshith says that he would like to stay in India. His father gets annoyed by this, yells at him, and calls him a ‘Waste Body’. As Rakshith mulls over the same, the narrative flows into the song.” Right after the song, there in an interesting turning point that alters the course of the movie, adds Arjun.

Personally, I have also experienced something similar in my life, and I know that it’s the same case with my friends as well,” he signs off.
