Veena’s Silk Sakkath Hot is a BO dud?

Pakistani actress Veena Malik starrer Kannada film Silk Sakkath Hot created a lot of buzz before its release. But, the film failed to live up to the massive hype. Reports say the film has failed to make profit at the box-office, as audiences are staying away from watching the film.
Several right-wing groups Sri Rama Sene, Karnataka Navnirmana Sena, and other organizations—have protested against the screening of the film.Apparently, the groups are protesting against Veena’s nationality and excessive skin show in the film. The screening of Silk Sakkath Hot has been disrupted in Hubli, Belgaum, Mangalore and Mysore. In fact, audiences in Mandya and Hassan are not going and watching the film, as they are scared of “annoying” the right-wing groups.
All these have badly affected the box-office collection of the film. The movie is the remake of critically-acclaimed Bollywood film Dirty Picture, starring Vidya Balan.
