According to reports from Sacnilk, 'UI' earned Rs 6.95 crore on its opening day, followed by Rs 5.6 crore on the second day and Rs 5.95 crore on the third day. The film saw a decline in earnings during the weekdays but still managed to maintain a steady performance. As of December 26, 2024, 'UI' has grossed a total of Rs 26.35 crore in its first six days of release.

The film had an overall occupancy rate of 36.07% in Kannada theatres on Thursday, with morning shows attracting 17.21% of audiences, afternoon shows with 44.12% and evening shows peaking at 47.34%. Additionally, it recorded a 23.15% occupancy rate in Telugu screenings.

Starring Upendra alongside Reeshma Nanaiah, Sunny Leone, Sadhu Kokila, and Murali Sharma, 'UI' explores a dystopian world filled with action and intrigue. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike, the film has been praised for its visual effects and ambitious storytelling.

The film's performance is particularly noteworthy given its budget of over Rs 60 crore, making it one of the highest-grossing Kannada films of 2024 thus far. However, some industry experts believe that it may struggle to recover its production costs based on current box office trends.

'UI' also faces competition at the box office with Kiccha Sudeep's 'Max'. Additionally, the Telugu film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' and 'Mufasa: The Lion King' are also running well.
