Raj B. Shetty's 'Garuda Gamana Vrishbha Vahana' has always evoked curiosity amongst the audience but the most recent news of
Rakshit Shetty's involvement in the project has only amplified those interests. The actor-director took to social media a couple of days to share that he will be presenting the film under his home banner of Paramvah Studios - following this, the makers have now come forward to announce that film's first trailer will be released on the 15th of October.
'Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana' will be Raj B. Shetty's second film in the capacity of a director after making an impressive debut with 'Ondu Motteya Kathe'. Raj also serves as the film's writer and has drawn inspiration from Hindu mythology to conceive a modern tale about gangsters - the title alludes to a Yakshagana sequence from Sri Devi Mahatme. While Raj plays one of the two protagonists called Shiva,
Rishab Shetty plays Hari, the other lead in the story.
Gopalkrishna Deshpande too plays a key role in the film that is set entirely in Mangaluru.
In the past, when quizzed about whether or not he is contemplating an OTT release, Raj B. Shetty had stated with clarity that he wishes for a theatrical release alone. While speaking to an online daily back in April of 2021, the actor-director had stated that his film was made for a theatrical watch and for that to happen, he didn't mind waiting out the tough period. Well, with things beginning to look rosy again, and big ticket films too making their way back on to the big screens, it would seem that the makers of 'Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana' too will get what they desired after all. More updates to follow soon.
