Tony promotion tour completed

The Tony team, which kick started promotion activities from Mandaya district, is all set to conclude the tour today (Thursday) in Gulbarga district. Tony is all set to hit screens in August 9 and the movie has Srinagara Kitty and Aindrita Ray in the lead roles.
Speaking to TOI, director Jayatheertha says, “We have toured almost all the districts in the state from past few days. The response from the people is overwhelming,” he says.Interestingly, the film team has visited several colleges and schools across the state to promote the movie. “Our movie has a strong message to the present day students. One of the messages of the movie is education is not to earn money, it is to gain values. So we decided to visit schools and colleges to draw students to theatres and cinema halls,” says the director.
Actor Srinagara Kitty and producer Indra Kumar participated in the promotional tour. Actress Aindrita Ray has skipped the tour owing to her acting commitments. Sadhu Kokila is the music director of the movie.
