If all goes well, then after over 20 years, Sridevi and Amitabh Bachchan will come together to try and recreate the magic of Khuda Gawah in its proposed sequel. The script for the film is reportedly currently being written and the makers have also already approached Big B, who, according to sources, gave a positive feedback. The two veteran actors were last seen in Sridevi’s 2012 comeback hit
English Vinglish, in which Amitabh made a special appearance.
Once the script for the sequel is complete, producer Manoj Desai — who had produced the original film as well— will approach Amitabh for again and try to bring him on board. Once he gives a nod, the team is said to meet Sridevi, who was seen in Kannada films like
Bhakta Kumbara,
Hennu Samsaradha Kannu and
Priya. Younger actors will also reportedly be a part of the star cast.
