Shraddha Srinath is the new girl in Duniya Vijay’s colony

. While actress Rachita Ram had to bow out of this project due to date clashes, it turns out to be Shraddha Srinath’s gain as she has been chosen to play the lead role in this film opposite Duniya Vijay.
“We have put up a huge set — we’ve created an entire colony on a 10 acre piece of land. While the rest of the cast remains more or less the same, this sequel to Johnny Mera Naam will have Shraddha playing the new girl who has moved into the colony,” says director Preetham Gubbi.
The previous film had Ramya play the lead role, and Preetham tells us, “Nobody can fill Ramya’s place. But Shraddha is a good performer and we are thrilled to have her on board.
Vijay is currently preparing for the role. “He is required to lose at least 10 kgs before he can look lean. He plays a local boy who, obviously is poles apart from the high class or elite personality that Shraddha plays. We should be going on floors with this one by August,” says Preetham.
