KGF: Chapter 1 that won national acclaim. The multilingual film from Sandalwood has a bigger star cast and canvas for the second part, with Bollywood stars
Sanjay Dutt and
Raveena Tandon joining the cast that has Rocky Bhai
Yash in the lead. While Sanjay essays the main antagonist
Adheera
, Raveena plays Prime Minister Ramika Sen.
The shoot for the second part has been delayed because of the pandemic. Sanjay, who has shot for most of his portions already, will be joining the team in Hyderabad in December for the rest of the shoot. Everyone has been waiting to see Sanjay as the brutal Adheera. In fact, his look which has been inspired from that of a Viking won a lot of applause when it was revealed on his birthday earlier this year.

Prashanth Neel had earlier told Bangalore Times, "We wanted something menacing for this character and we looked around the world. The vikings were a menacing tribe, so we thought we should bring that into the picture. But, I also needed it to be a part of the story. So, we have showcased Sanjay Dutt's character as someone who was inspired by the people and what they did to commit the same kind of brutality that they did. So, he is inspired from his childhood to do something that these people have been doing. So, he likens himself to a viking."
