For heroines, a career in films is mostly about the earlier, the better. Very often, promising talent is plucked from school corridors, with many of them putting education on the backburner. Well, that used to be the trend. These days, actresses want to be known as beauties with brains and find time to juggle a career in films and studies, or set aside time to pursue a course of their liking.As Amulya recently said, “I didn’t want to be called an eighth standard-pass actress. I wanted to prove that actresses can study too.”

The actress posted on her social networking page that she wants to study and train in public administration and is rumoured to have enrolled at a prestigious university abroad.

She loves writing and holds a masters degree in English literature. Meghana now plans to pursue a PhD in literature, specializing in onscreen adaptations of literary works.

The actress, who recently finished her graduation while juggling her film projects, plans on pursuing an MBA through correspondence.
