Sandalwood actor and director
Rishab Shetty has decided to adopt a government school, which was about to shut down. After the success of ‘Sarkari Hiriya Prathamika Shale Kasaragodu’, Rishabh decided to take this move.
Apparently the actor shot at Kairangala school in Bantwal Taluk of Dakshina Kannada and after his shoot the school was scheduled to close down. There were 42 kids studying at the time of the shoot, after which only 17 children remained. However, the school has been renovated and there are around 84 students there now. The actor is confident that the number will rise to 300 in the next two years.
Saving a school and promoting education is indeed a great cause adopted by Rishab Shetty.
