Ravichandran’s role as a lawyer in The Judgement is a powerful one: Filmmaker Gururaj

Fans of Ravichandran are in for a treat as The Judgement will see the actor take on the role of a brilliant lawyer, the film’s director Gururaj Kulkarni tells us.

The court room drama, inspired by real-life incidents, will also see Diganth Manchale, Meghana Gaonkar and Dhanya Ramkumar in lead roles. The film has been made under the banner G9 Communication Media & Entertainment, and releases today. Speaking about the film, Gururaj says, “The film follows an incident that occurs in the life of Ravichandran’s character, which compels him to seek redemption. But his pursuit of justice faces resistance from powerful figures in society.”
Highlighting the film’s content, he says, “It tackles subjects like financial scams, but there are family-centric elements, too. Veteran actors Prakash Belawadi, Rangayana Raghu, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, TS Nagabharana, and more are also a part of the film, says Gururaj, and adds, “We are glad that with this film as many as 30 single-screen theaters that were on the verge of closure, will reopen,” he adds.
