Raghavendra Rajkumar shoots at Dr Rajkumar’s birthplace

Actor Ragahvendra Rajkumar, who is back on sets post the demise of his brother Puneeth Rajkumar. He recently shot some scenes for Khadak Halli Hudugaru in Gajanur -the birth place of his father and late Kannada thespian Dr Rajkumar. Gajanur was the ideal location since it is set against a rural backdrop. Speaking to us, director MU Prasanna Halli says, “It’s a special role as Raghanna is seen as a guiding light for youngsters who lead their life as per their whims and fancies. When I narrated the role to him, he immediately agreed to come on board, as he thought that he would do justice to the character. Raghanna plays Parashuram, who solves many problems in the village, which helps people live in harmony. He is a man of principles, who leads by example, and also does social service, which earns him respect in the village.”
