Rachita Ram to play cop in her first female-centric film

Rachita Ram had recently backed RJ-turned-filmmaker Mayuraa Raghavendra for his first short film

in it. I won’t be seen in a uniform, though. Instead, I will be in mufti — mostly linen shirts and jeans. The treatment will be akin to Rani Mukerji’s character in

Mardaani

. The film has a very nice message. We will make our first formal announcement in mid January and plan to go on floors by the end of the month or early February,” says Rachita.
