Rachita Ram takes Ramya’s place

Director Preetham Gubbi, who was in search of a heroine to step into Ramya’s shoes in

part 2, has made his choice. “We have finalized Rachita Ram for

Johnny Johnny Yes Papa

and she will join the shoot from July,” shares Preetam.

Rachita, he adds, will play an upper-class girl — akin to Ramya’s role in the previous installment — who comes to live in Johnny’s locality, called the Rainbow Colony. “And since Viji (Duniya Vijay) and she have never been paired before on screen, their combination is fresh and one that audiences will look forward to,” wraps up Preetham.
