Nam Duniya Nam style editor kidnapped?
The editor of Preetham Gubbi's Nam Duniya Nam Style, Deepu S Kumar, almost got kidnapped during their shoot in Malaysia.
"We had wrapped up shoot in Malaysia and had gone shopping for televisions, music systems and other gadgets. Once we finished shopping, we asked Deepu to take a cab and get to a particular destination, where we would meet him with a couple of other things," says Preetham and adds,"But, we were not able to get him a taxi for quite a while.

Then, we managed to stop a taxi and get him in. But, to his bad luck, it turned out to be a stolen taxi and the thief, who was driving the car took off in the opposite direction. While we were waiting for him at the discussed destination, he was busy trying to figure out where they were heading. And, when Deepu realized that the thief had driven him 50 miles outside Malaysia, he took a picture of the taxi meter. On looking at this, the thief got off the car, snatched his off and ran away. Our editor, being the brave guy that he is, managed to drive back to the point we had first discussed."
While all of this was taking place, the whole unit was worried since the editor had gone missing for more than four hours, says Preetham. Nam Duniya Nam Style, which stars actors Likith Shetty, Krishna and Vinayak Joshi is a bromance that is scheduled to release on June 28.
