It was reported very recently by ETimes Kannada that actors
Nagabhushana and
Priyanka Thimmesh are to star together in a film directed by debutant Preetham Tegginamane. The film, which was untitled at the time, is now called 'Made in China' and Nagabhushana took to social media a while ago to share the first poster. 'Made in China' is being produced by
Nandakishore
along with Dr. T.R. Chandrashekaar and Crystal Paark Cinemas.
Speaking about the film's subject matter, Nagabhushana says: "It's a story of human emotions that centers around a family. I play a businessman who gives up his job to do something else in life and when I fail at it, the story traverses the journey of the family in overcoming those hurdles. It's a human drama at the core with elements of comedy and romance too featuring prominently".
This will be Nagabhushana's first collaboration with Priyanka Thimmesh who plays the female lead in the film. The film's shoot has been underway for quite some time in Bengaluru, with only a few days of production pending. "We have shot the entire film in Bengaluru. It's interesting to work with a small crew and wrap things up at a rapid pace - we are left with only 10-12 days of shoot now," adds Nagabhushana who is currently one of the busiest and exciting talents around. The principal cast of 'Made in China' also comprises Ravi Bhat,
Aruna Balaraj,
Ashwini Rao Pallakki
, and Gowrav Shetty.
The director of 'Made in China', Preetham Tegginamane, has previously served as a cinematographer on films like 'Ayogya' and 'Ratnamanjarii'. Preetham also serves as the D.O.P and editor on 'Made in China'.
