The protagonists of Neene Bari Neene

When you have a film with seven songs, it makes sense to have characters whose lives revolve around music. That is just what debutant director Deepak Thimaya has done in his upcoming film, Neene Bari Neene. Here, the lead cast of the film tells us a little more about their characters.
Anish
I play a normal, happy-go lucky small-town boy who has no goal in life.What he does love is music, and that gets him to meet someone who turns his life around. His growth as a person and personality, and a love story that brews in between form the crux of the story. The film has seven songs, and I feature in six of them.
Deepika Kamaiah
I play a very strong woman of today. She is just back in India after having studied abroad, but because of certain things that have happened to her, she has set ways about how she wants her life to be. For her, everything revolves around music and books, until, of course, she meets Anish’s character. How she changes her attitude towards life forms the rest of the story.
Samyukta Hornad
I play a girl who is not keen on finding love and doesn’t believe that she needs to find someone to complete her. Anish and Deepika’s characters are more interested in love than her. She loves music and it is through music that she meets Anish’s character. She changes his life in a very drastic way. It was quite interesting playing this character because she is a lot like me in real life.
