Karishma can’t wear heels

One thing that is very attractive about I Am Sorry Mathe Banni Preethsona actress Karishma Tanna is her height. The actress, we are told, stands at 5’9”, which for the average Indian makes for a very tall woman. Most Indian actors, in regional cinema and Bollywood, are either shorter, that height, or barely a few inches taller. Naturally, that makes for a predicament for the pretty actress.
On the set of her film Grand Masti, the sequel to Masti, Karishma was banned from wearing heels, because she is as tall as her co-star Vivek Oberoi. Vivek who is barely an inch taller than her (5'10”) would look shorter than Karishma if she wore any heels while shooting their sequences together, hence director Indra Kumar and the styling team ensured she wore flats throughout her scenes with him! According to a source, Karishma was upset initially, as she loves to wear heels and cannot imagine moving about without them but, later on sportingly let go off it.
Incidentally, since her 2011 Kannada debut in director Ravindra’s film, opposite Prem, Karishma has not been seen in Sandalwood.
