'Kantara Chapter 1': Rukmini Vasanth drops rare BTS pictures from the sets; shares glimpse of horse-riding lessons
Rukmini Vasanth, who is enjoying the success of 'Kantara: Chapter 1', recently dropped behind-the-scenes pictures on her social media. The photos showcased her prep for the role of Kanakavathi in the film.
She captioned the post, "Becoming Kanakavathi."

Apart from Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth, the film also features Jayaram and Gulshan Devaiah. It also featured Pramod Shetty, Rakesh Poojari, Prakash Thuminad, and Deepak Rai Panaje, among others.
The film, which is a prequel to the 2022 hit 'Kantara', will be released on Prime Video on October 31 in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.

The makers of 'Kantara: Chapter 1' recently announced that the film will be released in English as well for the worldwide audience. Currently, the movie has crossed the Rs 800 crore mark at the global box office. The English-dubbed version will hit theatres on October 31, 2025. With that, the producers are planning to submit the film for Oscar consideration.Apart from Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth, the film also features Jayaram and Gulshan Devaiah.
