The Darshan movie Bul Bul, which is in its fifth week, is reportedly set to become a bigger hit than the actor’s previous films Sarathi and Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna. Industry sources say its collection will match the overall collection of the other two films by the end of the fifth week. Bul Bul has already made a profit, which happened in the second week of its release.
The film is running in approximately 130 theatres now. Out of them, the film is being screened in 50 theatres where it initially released on May 10. The film is likely to complete a 50-day run in about 35 theatres.
Bul Bul has been a big hit in the Mandya-Mysore-Hassan area and Shimoga, where it is the biggest current Kannada hit. In North Karnataka and Mangalore, the figures are comparatively lower, with a box office collection of about 60 per cent. This is, however, much better than most films fare in their fifth week.
