Krishna Ajai Rao returns to his favourite Krishna series for a fourth time in today's release, Krishna Rukku, which pairs him with Amulya. The film by Uday K Mehta Productions for Vasavi Enterprises and presented by Sri Venkateshwara Krupa Entertainers, is directed by Anil Kumar. 'Set in a village in picturesque Chikmagalur, Krishna Rukku is based on a wonderful script and is a film that the entire family can come and watch in a relaxed atmosphere.
There are no vulgar dialogues, the presentation is neat and the overall package is entertaining, which ensures that audiences will not be bored at any point,' says Anil.
The filmmaker adds that the fresh pairing of Ajai and Amulya will be a highlight, especially considering that the story focuses on their love story amid family relationships and values. 'Though Ajai and Amulya fight and can't stand the sight of each other initially, their dislike for each other that makes way for love eventually is not presented in the traditional manner that audiences are used to in terms of boy meets girl, fight and then fall in love. There is a reason these two characters are at loggerheads, which will make for interesting watching,' says the director.
Sridhar Sambhram's music is another USP of the film, says the director, adding that the track Helilla Yarallu Naanu, sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal, is likely to stay with audiences.
