Preetham is a confused youngster, whose is born to a wealthy family and lives the hipster life. He seeks constant change and adventure, even in his love life. When he finally meets a match in Nandini, does he really find a happily ever after?

There is Ganesh as Preetham, a new Nandini, cool parents, Jog Falls and rain again. But this time around directing him is Shashank and not Yogaraj Bhat. Does this outing in the rain work? It does. The love story has a more contemporary feel to it and the rich visuals add to its appeal.

This film has been pegged as a contemporary take on love keeping in minds of todays lovers. The film has a fun aspect to it, traveling across some beautiful locales with some predictable and some not so predictable scenes. What works for the film is the fresh pairing of Ganesh and newbie Neha Shetty, who have a cute chemistry that keeps the narrative lively.

The other aspects that work for the film are cameos by known faces, which add weight to the film. V Ravichandaran as the cool dad has done a good job and the new combination of Crazy Star with Golden Star works. P Ravi Shankar and Sadhu Kokila entertain in their signature styles.

The cinematography by Shekhar Chandru is laudable, as are the romantic tunes by Arjun Janya. The story is not new, but the film manages to keep one engrossed for most parts. The film does begin on a shaky start and has a dramatic climax that might not entirely convince someone, but it is worth a watch for fans of the franchise.

Shashank's films are known for masala entertainment and that one finds aplenty here. The film does not disappoint fans who watched the first part, for there is a Preetham, a Nandini and even a wedding house in hilly Karnataka, but all served in a different presentation with new spices. This film is for those who love the trademark romantic capers.
