Lambodara

Lambodara (Yogi) is a happy-go-lucky guy from a middle-class family. He is considered useless by his parents and even his neighbours make fun of him. Lambodara starts firecrackers business, but when that fails, he continues to be the laughing stock of the neighbourhood.

Lambodara's only aim in life is to marry a girl to prove everyone wrong. After couple of attempts to win girls' hearts, Lambodara manages to impress Nithya (Akanksha) without revealing his true nature. In whatever deed Lambodara does, he is supported by his close pals Siddu Mollimani (Dubsmash Danny) and Kedarnath (Dharmanna Kadur). Nithya, a social worker, raises funds for cancer patients and takes up civic activities, like cleaning the city. Lambodara manages to convince Nithya that he has the same social concerns, leading to her falling in love with him.

There are also flashback sequences that take you back in time to Lambodara's school days. Things take a turn when Nithya is about to introduce Lambodara to her father, who is suffering from Alzheimers. Will Nithya change Lambodara's approach to life, or accept him once she finds out his true nature?

Lambodara offers nothing much to keep you interested. When the story is about the gather steam, it goes suddenly goes into flashback mode, which hampers the flow. Director K Krishnaraj manages to generate laughs with double entendres and crude comedy scenes. For the most part, the story doesn't move beyond the antics of Lambodara, which is a disappointing.
