Kiss

Nandini (Sreeleela) is a young, carefree college student, whose motto in life is to enjoy herself, so much so that she is often suspended from class for daydreaming. She then chances upon Arjun (Viraat), when she manages to accidentally damage his car. When Arjun demands that she compensates him for the damage, she offers to work for him as his assistant, to avoid informing her parents and facing their wrath. They strike a deal for Nandini to work with him for 72 days, a time in which she begins to have feelings for him, but is not able to broach the subject with him. As it turns out, Arjun also realises that he misses Nandini and decides to follow her all the way to Madikeri to woo her. Strangely enough, she rejects his proposals. Why, though?

Kiss is a cute but predictable love story that takes viewers on a roller coaster ride from the word go. A tad longer than it should have been, it has a blend of action, romance and comedy, which might work for young audiences. The film touches upon subjects such as love failures and how fragile relationships are today, which only works in parts. The songs are quite good and keeps one engrossed in the narrative. Viraat and Sreeleela shine in their roles in what is a debut for both of them. Go and watch Kiss if love stories are your cup of tea.
