'Stay Alive': BTS' SUGA and Jungkook's new song is all about trying to survive in a vicious world

Pop icons and BTS band members SUGA and Jungkook released their highly anticipated song 'Stay Alive', the OST for HYBE’s original story '7FATES: CHAKHO'.
A week after dropping the teaser, the boys treated fans to the new song that will feature as part of the WEBTOON. This also marks the first time that a WEBTOON uses an OST as background music for a global release in 10 languages.
'Stay Alive' is a pop ballad with sublime energy that complements the storyline and of the urban fantasy that see the confrontations between humans and the Beom tribe in a corrupt world.
BTS’ SUGA took on the role of producer of the song while Jungkook got behind the microphone for the soulful vocals that capture the essence of the story’s characters and narrative.
The title, 'Stay Alive', is a nod to the characters in the story as they try to survive in a vicious world. The lyrics explore the earnest thoughts of an isolated boy and his message to himself and friends who he meets while making his way in the vicious world.
'7FATES: CHAKHO' was launched in January, and immediately drew great responses from fans around the world. It is an urban fantasy reinterpretation of chakhogapsa, a legendary group of tiger hunters from the Joseon Dynasty.
