Jessi calls out podcasters for not researching about her, netizens react: 'You don't know me'

K-pop star Jessi has recently gone viral over some of her comments on influencers and online personalities. The star recently featured on a popular podcast in consideration of her promotional activities for her latest release. However, during the interview, the singer ended up calling out the hosts over their actions and lack of knowledge.Jessi, as a part of her promo schedule, was invited to feature on the ‘HAHA podcast’ with the Ha sisters. During the segment, the trio claimed that they were huge fans of the rapper, which made Jessi visibly happy. However, as the interview went on, Jessi could be seen calling the hosts out for their actions.On one instance, when she asked them to name any 5 of her songs till now, none of them could provide a proper answer to the singer. Other than that, when asked about how many interviews the ‘NUNU NANA’ singer has done so far, none of the hosts could answer. Jessi was a longtime host of her own variety show titled ‘Showterview’, which was a global hit and featured some of the biggest names from K-pop as guests. Jessi even further explained what the show was about and how she would promptly help guests open up as well. After this, the singer looked around and said that “So you guys are not fans, you don’t know me.” She can be heard conveying this and asking this again and again throughout the show.Lastly, the hosts asked Jessi to talk about her latest single, to which she had to correct them and share that she has recently released an album, not just a single. The hosts of the podcast started the podcast off with a short introductory video before Jessi came to join them on their set. During the segment, all three of the Ha sisters had made claims about how big a fan they were of Jessi. The idol, however, called them out multiple times in the video for not knowing her and not doing proper research as well.Jessi was not the only one who called the hosts out on their behaviour. As soon as the interview video was posted on their official channel, netizens and fans alike rallied to the comment section to share their thoughts and opinions on the matter. One person’s comment about the whole interview read that, “Girl the second hand embarrassment yall was not prepared”, while another shared that, “Jessi gave her 200% and saved this podcast from a huge second hand embarrassment.”Jessi has been a force to reckon with and, over the years, has made a name for herself in the industry.
