Shah Rukh Khan, fondly called ‘King Khan’ by his fans, is one of the most beloved and respected actors in the Indian entertainment industry. The ‘Pathaan’ actor has been working in the industry since 1989, when at the mere age of 21, the star joined the cast of ‘Fauji’. The rest is history as we know it. Lateef Fatima Khan (Mother)

Lateef Fatima Khan, SRK's mother, was born in July, 1941, and was a renowned figure. The woman had many achievements under her belt. Lateef was an Oxford graduate as well as a first-class magistrate in the country. These accolades managed to help Lateef succeed later in life as well. One interesting aspect of her life comes from her association with Indira Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India. Lateef was a formidable figure and was also quite active in the political landscape of the country at the time.

Meer Taj Mohammed Khan (Father)

Meer Taj Mohammed Khan was another formidable figure in SRK’s life. Father of the star, he was a freedom fighter. The actor has recounted many times how his father was one of the youngest freedom fighters active during the war for independence. In an old interview when asked about the political scenario, the actor had answered, "My family, especially my father, were all very closely connected with the country's politics of those times (pre-Independence India) because my father was the youngest freedom fighter of this country and was related to people like General Shahnawaz, who fought for the freedom of this country."

Shah Rukh Khan

The King Khan himself has been an active force in the entertainment industry since the late 1980s. Initially the actor made his entry into the world of TV and cinema through the TV show ‘Dil Dariya’; however, due to delays in the production, the actor debuted in Rishi Kapoor’s ‘Fauji’. He started the first five years of his life in Mangalore and later moved to the Rajender Nagar locality in New Delhi. Currently the actor is one of the most successful stars in cinema and resides in his home, ‘Mannat’, in Mumbai. The actor also recently made his Met Gala debut as well in New York.

Shehnaz Lalarukh Khan (Sister)

Not many may know this, but the star also has an older sister who tends to stay away from the public eye for the most part. In an old interview, Shah Rukh Khan talked about his sister and shared that after their father’s demise due to cancer, his sister went into depression and battled it for 2 years. She has gotten treatment at various places and stays with the actor and his family under his care. Shehnaz is a private person and does not come outside in the public eye much either.

Gauri Khan (Wife)

Gauri Khan, Guari Chibber, is the wife of Shah Rukh Khan and is a multitalented and multifaceted woman in power. She works and operates as an Indian film producer and a costume designer, as well as an interior designer. The duo met in Delhi in 1984, where they started their relationship. She has produced many films, such as ‘Main Hoon Na’, ‘My Name Is Khan’, ‘Om Shanti Om’, and ‘Chennai Express’, to name a few. The designer regularly updates her social media platforms and is actively involved in different projects. She has also worked with Sussane Khan for their own line of furniture and is also the co-owner of the media giant founded by SRK.

Aryan Khan (Son)

Aryan Khan, the oldest of the sibling trio, was born in 1997. He is also multitalented, just like his parents, and operates as an actor and voiceover artist as well as a social media influencer. He has mostly completed his education at international institutes, such as Sevenoaks School, London, and then the University of Southern California for higher studies. He’s worked as a voiceover artist for animated films ‘The Incredibles’ and ‘The Lion King’, where he worked alongside his father, who voiced the character of Mufasa in the Hindi dubbed version.

Suhana Khan (Daughter)

Suhana Khan is the middle child and daughter of SRK and Gauri Khan, who has been active in the entertainment industry as well. Born to the couple in 2000, Suhana, like her brother, left India to pursue education internationally. She attended Ardingly College and later went to the New York University Tisch School of the Arts for her higher education. The actress made her official debut with the OTT film ‘The Archies’, which was a modern retelling of the popular comic by the same name. On her latest project, she will star alongside her father in his next film, ‘King’.

Abram Khan (Son)

Abram Khan is the third and youngest child of the Khan sibling trio. The child was born through surrogacy in May, 2013. As of right now, he studies at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. The 12-year-old is currently focused on finishing his studies and excelling at school. While he remains out of the public eye for the most part, his parents tend to share some adorable photos of their son from time to time that melt the fans’ hearts.
