Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise has shaken the entire film fraternity. The actor was last seen in 'Chhichhore' opposite Shraddha Kapoor. His next film was Mukesh Chhabra's 'Dil Bechara'. In the memory of the actor, here's a list of top 10 films that we will remember!

'Dil Bechara'

This will be Sushant Singh Rajput's last film. Helmed by Mukesh Chhabra, it stars Sanjana Sanghi in pivotal roles. It is a remake of Hollywood flick 'The Fault in Our Stars' which was based on John Green's 2012 novel with the same title. Saif Ali Khan has a special appearance in the film. It was earlier titled as 'Kizie Aur Manny'. The makers of the film are aiming to release the film on the digital platform. But fans have taken to social media, demanding the film to release in theatres as a tribute to Sushant.

'Chhichhore'

Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Chhichhore'. The film starred Shraddha Kapoor in pivotal roles. This film was Sushant’s final theatrically released film before his death in June 2020. He played the role of Aniruddh "Anni" Pathak, while Shraddha was seen as Maya Verma. The film also starred Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Singh Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Tushar Pandey and many more.

'Kedarnath'

Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, 'Kedarnath' was based on the background of 2013 Uttarakhand floods. The film marked the debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan. Sushant won praises from all the quarters for his stellar performance. Sushant and Sara's on-screen chemistry was praised by all.

'Sonchiriya'

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, 'Sonchiriya' starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. The film received positive reviews from critics. The 2019 film tells the tale of dacoits in 1975, who termed themselves Baaghis, the rebels. All the dialogues in the film are entirely in the Bundeli dialect. Last year, the actor had suddenly deleted all his Instagram posts after the failure of his film Sonchiriya. He deleted all his posts on Instagram and wrote, "NOT HERE RIGHT NOW" in his bio.

'M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story'

'M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story' was based on the life of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film starred Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni, along with Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, and Anupam Kher. Rajput's performance was widely praised by critics. He earned a lot of award nominations for his stellar performance. The film was one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2016.

'Kai Po Che'

'Kai Po Che' is Sushant Singh Rajput's debut film. Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, it is based on Chetan Bhagat's novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life. The 2013 film also starred Rajkummar Rao and Amit Sadh, while Amrita Puri plays the female lead. The storyline revolves around three friends, Ishaan, (aka Sushant), Omi (aka Amit Sadh) and Govind (akaRajkummar Rao). They have a dream to start their own sports shop and sports academy.

'Shuddh Desi Romance' starred Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor in leading roles. Vaani marked her debut in Hindi film industry with this 2013 film. Set in Jaipur, the film explores the views of the younger generation on commitment, live-in relationships and arranged marriages as compared to love marriages in small-town India.

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film follows an alien who comes to Earth on a research mission. He loses his remote to a thief, who later sells it to a godman. The film starred Aamir Khan in the titular role with Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla and Sanjay Dutt in crucial roles. Sushant played the role of Pakistani Muslim Sarfaraz who falls in love with Anushka aka Jaggu.

'Raabta'

'Raabta' featured Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon, with Jim Sarbh, Rajkumar Yadav and Varun Sharma in supporting roles. It was based on the concept of reincarnated star-crossed lovers. As per reports, Alia and Sushant were going to share the screen space for the first time for 'Raabta'. But soon it was reported that Alia walked out from the project leaving the film in a jeopardy.

'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy', directed by Dibakar Banerjee is based on the fictional detective Byomkesh Bakshi. The movie starred Sushant Singh Rajput, Anand Tiwari and Swastika Mukherjee in principal roles. The film received positive reviews from critics.
