The language of fusion love
Believe it or not, the title track of Joe Rajan’s Luv U Soniyo is sung in four different languages.
The hum-worthy track has been composed and sung by Remo Fernandes, a guest director on the romantic flick’s soundtrack. Of the multi-lingual song, Remo says, “The film has a curious four-way situation: the boy is a Konkani Goan, the girl is a Punjabi, they study in an English medium college, and the spoken language is Hindi.

So the four languages have been seamlessly woven together by lyricists Abhijeet Desphande and Sai Palondikar, with a little help from me. I’m having fun singing it and am making sure it does not sound like the Tower of Babel!” Remo added, “We have seen Hinglish songs. But this is for the first time you will witness a song that is a fusion of different languages. Therein lies its uniqueness.”
Luv U Soniyo marks the debuts of Rati Agnihotri’s son Tanuj and former Miss India Neha Hinge.
