Neha and her Apple Bottoms

The Indian Diva from the pop girl group VIVA and also the singer of Fashion’s popular track ‘Kuch khaas hai’, Neha Bhasin has come up with her solo album called ‘Tabaah’ and her first song ‘Apple bottoms’ is already creating sensation all over.
We spoke to the sensuous singer about her sumptuous album...
Tell us something about your album ‘Tabaah’?
I am very happy with the way ‘Tabaah’ is doing.We recorded the song in Delhi and I stay in Mumbai, so we used to keep on shuttling between both and the video is shot in Ukraine (East Europe).
Something about ‘Apple Bottoms’...
It focuses on the woman’s beauty and flaunting your body. It is a song about the butt and its all about loving oneself.
Your video got banned in Malaysia...
They have some censorship problems. They loved the song, but thinks that the word ‘Apple Bottoms’ has double meaning.
Tamil version of ‘Apple Bottoms’...
I have many fans in Tamil, so we came out with the Tamil version of the song.
Your fans are fighting for you on twitter...
It feels very nice when you see people speaking for you and supporting you and I am thankful to my fans for the same.
How did the re-launch happen?
It was never part of my plans but in 2004, the pop industry died and I wanted to continue with pop singing, so when we got the right backing and sponsors, we came out with the album. Although, it did not happen by chance as we have working on the album for past 3 years and have put lot of effort in it.
Plans about singing for Bollywood...
Bollywood has been very kind to me and this is how, ‘Kuch khaas hai’ (Fashion) happen to me. I will be performing for Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA) with Mohit Chauhan and Salim Suleman.
Future projects...
I’ll be singing for Vipul Shah’s remake of Tamil movie ‘Kaaka Kaaka’.
