Jai Ho for peace

AR Rahman sang ‘Jai Ho’ to a packed audience at the Nobel Peace Prize concert honouring this years’ winner, Liu Xiaobo, in Oslo, Norway, on Saturday.
In aninterview to Denzel Washington during the visit, Rahman said that he had been invited to perform a year ago and as a human being, he believed in peace and human rights. He performed two tracks from “Slumdog Millionaire” – “Escape” and “Jai Ho” along with Shweta Pandit, Tanvi Shah and Neeti Muhan.
