Indian sunset for Elton John

A decade ago, this news would have elicited raptures and/or disbelief, but now it’s regular fare. Sir Elton John, along with partner David Furnish, is planning to visit India in March 2012.
The singer-songwriter, who has established the Elton John AIDS Foundation, plans to get involved with projects here dealing with HIV/AIDS awareness and orphans.
A source working on bringing him down to India had said, “There are a couple of charity organisations Elton has shown interest in, but he still has to take a call on which ones he wants to associate with.He finds the number of HIV-related deaths in India quite alarming.”
