Daler Mehndi to perform at religious event in Delhi

Singer Daler Mehndi will perform at the biggest Sai event ‘Deedar-e-Sai’ in Delhi on December 16. The singer has some special plans for the event, and we hear he's going to showcase Maula Sai live.
Daler Mehndi, who embarked on a new path with Soul to Supreme in 2012, is too much into Sufi music. Recently, he released two albums – a devotional Bhajan album Maula Sai and another Sufi release Sai Da Malang.
When asked about performing at a Sai event, Mehndi said, “India is a land of saints, gurus, diverse languages and cultures. And we must realize that all the gurus taught love and brotherhood. In addition, music transcends boundaries…it takes us beyond cultures and religions. So the mornings, the afternoons, the sandhyas of the life rather each breath should go drenched in recognizing the presence of the divine/Sai."
