Aap Kaa Surroor

Music: Himesh Reshammiya
Lyrics: Sameer
Rating: **** (excellent)
Himesh’s film may/may not impress the janta but the music has definitely left Himesh’s fans swooning and begging for more from the rockstar.
Songs like ‘Asalaam Valekum’, ‘Tera Mera Milna’, ‘Tanhainyan’ and ‘Mehbooba’ are rhythmic and peppy.
An air of aggressiveness is felt in the voice of Himesh Reshammiya in Assalaam Vaalekum.
1x1 polls
The song is a typical Himesh song – peppy, lively and rhythmic. The track stands out because of its music.

Tera Mera Milna, an emotional romantic number touches your heart with its sensitive lyrics and great vocals of Himesh and Shreya Ghoshal. It one of the best romantic numbers ever composed by Reshammiya.
Jhooth Nahi Bolna, is hummable and pleasing for its flirtatious lyrics and notorious tune.
Heartache and loneliness is deeply felt through Tanhaiyan. The track which was earlier composed for Boney Kapoor’s Shahid-Kareena starrer Milenge Milenge, is perfectly used in the film and is one of the best tracks of the album.
Ya Ali, well groomed with Sunidhi’s seductive background vocals have the ability to take you to the dance floor and shake that booty. A perfect song for the party animals.
Tere Bina, a romantic song stands out because of its lovely and haunting background score
Finally, Mehbooba Mehbooba, a song based on RD Burman’s Sholay track is a huge let down as instead of creating some ‘Himesh’ magic, all you get to hear is a ‘remix’ version of the old classic without any new spice to it. Asha Bhonsle sings the song with ease but overall the song fails to create any magic.
Overall the album is excellent, especially for those who like Himesh songs and is a must buy.
