Sufi music fest in Kolkata

What is winter without some music concerts? And considering that the city has an ear for music it comes as no surprise that music lovers would attend in hordes, Ruhaniyat, an all-India Sufi and mystic music festival, held recently at Tollygunge Club.
Said Amitabh Bhattacharjee, who attended the Festival, “Five groups from all over the country had come together for this event.I love this kind of music and whenever I get the time and opportunity, I make it a point to attend such festivals. Sufi music gives peace of mind and I loved the renditions by Parvathy Baul and the folk numbers by the Rajasthani group apart from the Warsi Brothers & Group. There were three to four performances by each group.”
