KK's evergreen songs that capture emotions of heartbreak, friendship, love

Right from peppy party songs to heartwarming romantic tracks, Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, has gifted fans with numerous songs sung in his mellifluous voice. Over the years, his songs have come to the rescue of many when it came to serenading their lovers, and have also worked as a salve to the wounds of heartbreak. A romantic song from the 'Jannat', this one was filmed on Emraan Hashmi who was proposing to Sonal Chauhan on the busy city streets of Mumbai. KK has lent his voice to Emraan Hashmi several times and it is evident why. ‘Gangster- A Love Story’ song, ‘Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai’ is a lover's expression of just how much his sweetheart means to him. Kangana Ranaut and Emraan cut a romantic picture in the song that shows the progression of their love story in the film.

KK’s endearing voice in this non-romantic song filmed on Salman Khan and little Harshaali Malhotra from the film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is one of KK's many musical gems. Helmed by Pritam, the song encapsulates the essence of friendship beautifully. “I was holidaying in Sydney with my family when we recorded Tu Jo Mila from the blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” shared KK about the song, during one of his live concerts.

The trio of Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Saif Ali Khan grooving to this party track from the film ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ is forever etched in our memories. Performed by Shaan, KK, Vasundhara Das, and Loy Mendonsa, the upbeat number will make you want to get on the dance floor.

Every '90s kid has grooved to 'Dus Bahane'. The song was recently remade for ‘Baaghi 3’ and also marked KK’s return as a playback singer in the commercial music scenario. KK’s enthralling voice has impacted a whole generation and continues to do so to date.
