Why Kick can be called Salman Khan’s Dhoom

Salman Khan has got a ‘Kick’ in life and with the film’s superb success at the box office, it seems his fans too have accepted his ways of leading life. Although riding high on success, Salman was yet to become a superhero like Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan aka Krrish or king of stunts like Dhoom 3’s Aamir Khan. But even before the Yash Raj Films could speculate over picking Salman Khan for Dhoom 4, the hunk himself surprised all by making his very own action-packed Kick in the company of director Sajid Nadiadwala. Know why Kick is Salman Khan’s combo of Dhoom and Krrish.

Why Kick can be called Salman Khan’s Dhoom

Playing a superhero like Krrish 3 and a thief like Aamir Khan in Dhoom 3, Salman Khan does not let his identity be revealed. He wears a mask at all times like Krrish and leaves it as a proof every time he strikes the robbery scene much like Hrithik Roshan’s ‘A’ momento he left after robbing the place. Moreover, superhero Salman Khan continues to don black much like Krrish or Aamir Khan or Hrithik Roshan of the Dhoom series.

As soon as Salman Khan’s speeding bus is about to be stopped by police officer Randeep Hooda in Warsaw, Poland, it falls from the bridge into the water with the currency notes flying out. The scene reminds you of John Abraham’s suicidal jump from the cliff in Dhoom, Hrithik Roshan’s fall in Dhoom 2 climax and Aamir Khan’s suicidal freefall in Dhoom 3. Interestingly, Sajid Nadiadwala definitely knows the art of making a Dhoom without letting the hero die.

The scenes in which Salman Khan is seen conducting a reece and using a virtual computer to draw out a master plan for the robbery, you again cannot avoid thinking of Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2 and Aamir Khan in Dhoom 3. The virtual computer has also been used in some parts of Krrish 2 and this is why it would not be wrong to say that Salman Khan has played the combo of Krrish and Dhoom 3’s Aamir in one Kick.

Why Kick can be called Salman Khan’s Dhoom

The Dhoom series is known for its chasing scenes involving bikes, cars, buses and trucks with an Indian police officer chasing the thief in a foreign country. Ditto happens in Kick. Indian officer Randeep Hooda turns into Dhoom’s Abhishek Bachchan and is no way less talented than the thief Salman Khan aka Devil. Not to forget, he is well versed with Poland’s road routes and shortcuts as he chases Salman Khan, much like the Junior Bachchan.

Salman Khan jumps from the building after conducting the robbery at the charity lunch, the scene takes you back to Aamir Khan’s jump from the building in Dhoom 3 which was also followed by his moonwalk. Though Salman did not imitate it completely, the scene is highly similar to that of Dhoom 3. Believe it or not, even the building structure and design is same. Watch it to confirm the claim.

Why Kick can be called Salman Khan’s Dhoom

The highlight of Dhoom 3 was not just Aamir Khan’s robbery but Katrina’s ‘Kamli’ dance too which will remain the best performance of her career. Not missing out on glamour, Sajid Nadiadwala too gave Jacqueline a similar opportunity in Kick in the song “Jumme Ki Raat”. Jacqueline dances her heart out without any music, captivating the moviegoers with just her wonderful dance moves.
