When Armaan Jain touched SRK's feet

The star studded premier of Lekar Hum Deewana Dil organized by Eros International and Illuminati Films, saw quite a few filmy names in attendance. Debutant Armaan Jain along with his lead actress Deeksha celebrated their movie by hosting a special premier which was attended by the cast and crew and their close friends. Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is directed by Arif Ali, Imitiaz Ali’s brother and the music has been composed by AR Rahman, which is touted to be very upbeat, young and vibrant and nothing that we have heard before. The actor is super excited about his debut and also ended up touching the feet of none other than King Khan at the premiere.

The film marks the entry of Raj Kapoor’s grandson Armaan with southern beauty Deeksha. An entertainer for the youth by the youth - Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is all about making mistakes and growing up as it takes audiences through the journey of two friends who take decisions, face consequences and learn from them. It reflects the "act first, think later" sentiments of today's youth and how relationships fail over unrealistic expectations. What we hear is, when the director Arif Ali completed his script , he was on a look for the lead actor. While casually talking about the lead character to one of his friends in the industry, they instantly suggested that Armaan could fill in the shoes of this character. Arif ali then spoke to Ranbir Kapoor about the character and asked him to pass on Armaan's contact details to him, so as to meet with him. Ranbir was in total agreement about the character closely being like Armaan and passed on Armaan's details.

Well competition is healthy and our young Bollywood brigade is proving it with spirit. Which is possibly why the next gen of our B town stars are not away from welcoming the newest entrants of the industry, Armaan Jain and Deeksha, the lead pair of Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. A few days back, even stars like Deepika Padukone, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Abhishek Bachchan, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt got onto the social network site immediately to tweet about the movie and welcome them warmly into the industry. Karan Johar was the first one to tweet about Armaan's Film and he said "#lekarhumdeewanadil looks like an extremely charming and new age love story..with a STAR in the waiting...#ArmaanJain"

In fact, it was not just Shahrukh Khan who bestowed Armaan Jain with wishes, but even Salman Khan had spotted Armaan at Ridhima's Sangeet! While Armaan is the second youngest grandson who will be making his bollywood debut with Arif Ali's Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, it was Salman who first saw Armaan at Riddhima's (Ranbir Kapoor's sister) sangeet and said that he too would be a star. According to a report, Armaan also took tips from Amitabh Bachchan. He advised Armaan to brush up on the language.
