SRK's surgery: Fans wish for speedy recovery; SRK thanks all

Shah Rukh Khan was discharged from the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai in the wee hours. In a report on Mid-day.com, sources have revealed that say he was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital at 1 am on Friday. SRK thanked his well-wishers for standing by him during his tough time. While Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t confirmed the news on his Twitter handle, he had earlier tweeted thanking his fans for the support and prayers.

Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, successfully underwent an arthroscopic surgery of left knee on May 22, 2015 and has been advised complete rest for three to four days. SRK underwent the surgery at the Breach Candy Hospital. According to a statement issued, Sanjay Desai, who operated on the 49-year-old iconic star, said in a statement, "Mr. Khan has been suffering from repeated pain and swelling of left knee over the last several months. Today's surgery confirms chondral wear of the patella, which is due to repeated injuries over the last few years. Based on today's arthroscopic evaluation, future management will be planned. He has recovered well and is likely to be discharged tomorrow."

Shah Rukh, who was busy shooting for Raees until before the surgery, will be on a break following his discharge from the hospital to recover. He will resume work soon. Last year, the King Khan had suffered an injury while shooting Farah Khan's Happy New Year. Apart from getting a fractured shoulder, his left knee's patella tendon had got torn. The actor's popularity on Twitter is tremendous and his fans are wishing him a faster recovery. Thanking them, SRK tweeted, “Do they do Fequent Fliers Miles in Hospitals?
