Salman’s 5 movies expected to do well, but failed at the Box Office

Salman Khan had no release in 2013. The actor’s last release Ek Tha Tiger created new records at the Box Office. Expectations from Jai Ho were surely high as Salman was set to rock the screen after almost 18 months. However, the film didn’t ring the bell at the Box Office as compared to his previous films.

Veer was Salman Khan’s ambitious project and also the launch pad of Zareen Khan. The film grabbed headlines and lot of publicity was done before the release. However, this big budget film too didn’t entertain his audience and failed to make a mark at the Box Office. Though expectations were high, it failed at the Box Office.

Yuvraaj was also one of Salman’s most talked about ventures as Katrina Kaif was opposite him. Producer and director Subhash Ghai teaming up with Salman and his ex flame Katrina too couldn’t save the film and was one of the most anticipated films that didn’t meet audience's expectations. Salman even turned scriptwriter for Veer but it was of no use.

London Dreams directed by Vipul Shah is another film of Salman Khan which was expected to do well, but bombed at the Box Office. Asin was seen opposite Salman for the first time and Ajay Devgn too was a part of the film. The film was apparently inspired from the Hollywood film Rain Man.

Main Aurr Mrs Khanna was a romantic film and Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were paired together along with Sohail Khan. The film was directed by Prem Soni and in spite of a huge star cast the movie failed to attract audiences towards the theatre.
