Urmila Matondkar looks gorgeous in a pink sari

Urmila Matondkar is as gorgeous and graceful as she was during her ‘Rangeela’ days. The ‘Khoobsurat’ actress shared a beautiful pic in a pink silk sari along with the caption, “Saree times.. #grace #indian #traditional #loveforever#saree #bestest #elegance.” Topped with traditional kundan jewellery, Urmila has certainly won our hearts in a charming way. The diva got married to her love Mohsin Akhtar Mir in 2016 in a private wedding ceremony and the two are now caretakers to a dapper rottweiler who they call Stud.

Urmila Matondkar's 'happy Sunday' picture is too sweet to miss

Though it has been long that we have seen Urmila Matondkar sizzle on the silver screen, the actress has made sure her fans get enough of her.

In yet another of her treat to her followers, the pretty actress posted a new picture on Instagram. And it is too sweet to miss!

Wearing a knee-length, she looks nothing short of a chic. She captioned the image, "Happy Sunday".

Reasons why Urmila Matondkar should make a comeback

Urmila Matondkar had begun her career as a child actor with her stint in the 1977 film, 'Karm.' However, she became a household name when she appeared as one of the tots in Shekhar Kapur's 'Masoom' in the year 1983. After making her debut as a mainstream actress with the film, 'Bade Ghar Ki Beti,' Urmila made an impact with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Chamatkar.' She also had a flourishing career down South, where she has worked in quite a few remarkable films. With such an illustrious CV, it comes as a surprise that Urmila has been out of the spotlight for so long. However, on her birthday today, we wish that the actor makes a comeback to films. And here are a few reasons why she should do so...

Reasons why Urmila Matondkar should make a comeback

Urmila Matondkar, who turns a year older on February 4, is still just as gorgeous as she was at the peak of her career. The actress, who gyrated to the groovy beats of 'Tanha tanha' in Rangeela, will definitely not face a dearth of offers, given the fact that she can give any other actress a run for their money. Her charming looks and curly hair will surely woo the audience to the theatres even now. However, considering that she will be making her comeback, the film that she chooses should be one that brings out the best in her.

Reasons why Urmila Matondkar should make a comeback

Urmila Matondkar isn't just a pretty face. At the peak of her career, she has delivered some award-winning performances that were equally lauded by the audience. Be it her performance as a psychopath in Kaun, her awe-inspiring act as an aspiring singer in Satya or the portrayal of a calculating woman in Ek Hasina Thi - Urmila Matondkar was bang on! Besides her acting prowess, the actress was also a favourite with filmmakers for her dancing skills. Be it 'Chamma chamma' from China Gate or 'Aaiye aa jaiye' number from Lajja - Urmila aced every nuance of the performance.

Reasons why Urmila Matondkar should make a comeback

Urmila Matondkar can easily be termed to be Ram Gopal Varma's muse. The two have done as many as 13 films together. The fact can also perhaps be attributed to the fact that Urmila easily adapted the mannerisms of the character chalked out by RGV. The filmmaker's films seem to have lost their magic and perhaps with Urmila's comeback, he, too, can bounce back. They were a fabulous duo and we are sure that Urmila might prove to be RGV's lucky charm.

Reasons why Urmila Matondkar should make a comeback

Urmila has never shied away from experimenting. Even after she took a sabbatical from Bollywood, she has been keeping busy with TV shows. Urmila had made her TV debut in 2008 with the show, 'Waar Parriwar.' She was one of the judges on the dance reality show named 'Chak Dhoom Dhoom' on Colors channel, along with Javed Jaffrey and Terence Lewis. She also made her Marathi film debut with the movie 'Ajoba' in the year 2014. Going by her willingness to experiment, it would be interesting to see her return to the silver screen with an edgy thriller. Given her level of comfort with the genre, it will be a cakewalk for the actress.
