In pics: Aamir Khan’s rare pictures

This throwback picture of Bollywood's Chulbul Pandey', Salman Khan and Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan was taken back in 2012 when Aamir visited Salman during the shoot for 'Dabangg 2'.
In the picture, Aamir can be seen watching a footage of the film with his good friend, who is seen in his police khakis.
The image goes to show the friendship and camaraderie between the two superstars. It must be noted that the two have never shared screen space since 'Andaaz Apna Apna' and are professional rivals but on personal fronts, they are very good friends.

It was a memorable day when Prince Charles said the words, ‘The Rising –take one –Start’ as he snapped the clapperboard of Aamir Khan’s film, ‘Mangal Pandey: The Rising’ in Mumbai. Prince Charles was on his visit to India at the time and did the honours of announcing the opening shot of the Ketan Mehta film. Interestingly, ‘Mangal Pandey: The Rising’ was based on the story of an Indian soldier, who sparked the Indian rebellion of 1857, also known as the first war of Indian Independence while Prince Charles is the heir of Queen Victoria who ruled India till 1947.

Peeing together in the wilderness strengthens friendship, believes superstar Aamir Khan. The actor once tweeted a candid picture of him and Salman Khan urinating in the open with the caption, “My favourite pic of Salman & me. "Do dost ek jhaad pe susu kartein hain toh dosti badti hai. 1 day to go...Jai Ho!!!” ahead of the release of Salman’s ‘Jai Ho’ which unfortunately bombed at the box-office. While the pic was surely a funny one, however, it kicked up a storm for promoting urination in the open as Aamir was promoting Incredible India back then.

Who can groom an aspiring actor better than a superstar! This candid picture shows Aamir Khan fixing nephew Imran Khan’s hairstyle as he looks a tad irritated during the process. More than a decade later, Aamir Khan plays mentor to Imran Khan in Bollywood and often gives him professional advice. While Imran was last seen in ‘Katti Batti,’ Aamir Khan will now be seen as wrester in a sports biopic, ‘Dangal.’

Before Aamir Khan settled down with filmmaker Kiran Rao, he was married to Reena Dutta, who had a brief role in his blockbuster, ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.’ The two have two kids together – daughter, Ira and son Junaid. While Aamir is now happily married to Kiran and the two are parents to four-year-old son Azad Rao Khan, the actor shares a cordial bond with his former wife, Reena, who is often seen at family gatherings.
