Funny mistakes in Bollywood blockbusters

Bollywood films are loved for their entertainment quotient, song and dance sequences and interesting story lines. Unlike past few decades, big Hindi films like Dhoom 3 and Chennai Express now rake in billions. But since to err is human, the biggest Bollywood blockbusters are also not devoid of a few glitches. From spotting a mobile tower in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag that was set in the 1950s to getting aboard a sleeper coach of a train but getting down from a general compartment in Chennai Express, several commercial hits have glaring glitches that make for a fun watch.

Krrish 3: Hrithik Roshan is India’s own superhero, Krrish, but even superheroes are humans enough to commit mistakes. In one of the scenes, Hrithik is not on the front seat of the car when Priya Mehra drops Krishna and Rohit to their offices in her car, but steps out from the front door. Also, Hrithik’s shirt changes to full sleeves and then to half and then back to full sleeves while celebrating his birthday in the song ‘Raghupathi Raghav.’ It seems this Krrish can play magic tricks too.

Queen: Kangna Ranaut’s woman-centric blockbuster Queen was highly applauded by the critics and moviegoers alike. However, even this masterpiece had its share of flaws. When Kangna is shown leaving from Paris and Lisa Haydon comes to see her off, the train shown is a local sprinter from Netherlands Railway. Not only the train, even the plane in which Kangna took off from Delhi was changed from Airbus A320 to Airbus A330, then to an Airbus A380 in between the shots.

Race: The multi-starrer movie Race was a successful blockbuster but a few glitches here and there were apparent. The car models kept changing - from Mercedes e320 to Mercedes e350, and BMW 6 series model changing from M6, 645i to 650i, the film had no semblance of continuity when it came to the car models. Not only this, the speakers attached to the LCD TV were also spotted missing in between the shots. In one of the scenes, lighting and camera equipment is also spotted in the frame.

Chennai Express: Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest commercial success Chennai Express was miles away from perfection. While Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were seen in the sleeper class (SL) coach of the Chennai Express train, they get down from the general coach which is not connected to the sleeper compartments in any train. Not only this, SRK’s grandmother is seen giving his late grandpa’s ashes to him once at home and then again at the station. When his ticket is checked, Rahul has a ticket to Chennai. Also, SRK, aka Rahul, did not buy a ticket from Kalyan to Chennai but had the ticket when the ticket checker comes to check it.

Dhoom 3: Aamir Khan’s biggest blockbuster Dhoom 3 was also not devoid of bloopers. Why could the onlookers, who watched Aamir climb down the building, didn't help the cops sketch a picture of him? The bike also magically transforms into a water jet bike but the transition barely seems plausible.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag: Farhan Akhtar’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag entered the Rs 100 crore club in a short time, paving way for many more sports biopics like Mary Kom and MS Dhoni biopic which is in the making. Since the movie was set in the '50s, the makers could not help committing a few minor blunders. While Farhan sings 'Nanha Munna' to impress Sonam Kapoor in the film, the song was itself released in the film Son of India released in 1962. Similarly, mobile towers were spotted in a few scenes which did not exist in that era.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham: Family blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham also had flaws. Kareena Kapoor, who shows her different red sandals in the pair before going to the prom, is spotted wearing another pair of stilettos in the song ‘You are my Sonia.’ Also, her red scarf changes to a red coat in the scene. Not just Kareena, even Hrithik Roshan reaches college in a Lamborghini which later changes into a Mercedes.

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge: Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s epic blockbuster Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge has been so deeply loved by their fans that they don't mind overlooking a few errors here and there. While Kajol is seen standing on green grass ahead of the song ‘Tujhe dekha toh’, she comes running in a field full of mustard flowers to meet Shah Rukh Khan. Call it immediate cultivation of mustard crop or the blind love which sees nothing. Also, when Kajol re-packs her suitcase in the train scene, there is nothing lying on the floor but suddenly, Shah Rukh pulls out her clothing lying beneath him.

Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty: Akshay Kumar turned a soldier for the film Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, but could not save it from a few glitches. While Akshay cuts off a finger of a terrorist in the film, he is later spotted with all his fingers in place. The film starring Sonakshi Sinha in a different avatar also showed different hairstyles of Captain Viraat Bakshi (Akshay) - coincidence or intentional, the filmmakers know better.
